Evergreen Celebrates Cinco de Mayo

Señora Price and all of her students put on a wonderful feast of Mexican, South American, and Spanish cuisine. Special thanks to all those who worked hard to prepare their favorite dishes at home.

Applications for 2008-2009

Interested students and families are urged to stop in and pick up (or download from our website) an enrollment application. The application period runs from May 1 – June 1. Our spaces for new students are limited and dependent upon the current class sizes. For more information please give us a call at (570) 595-6355.

Millbrook Village Historical Days

Students in grades 6th – 8th will volunteer at Millbrook Village for this year’s Historical Days. Evergreen students act as villagers doing the chores found back in the 1800’s for school groups who will be visiting Millbrook on May 22nd. Last year our students worked with over 400 children. We will return in time for the afternoon busses. Students should bring a bag lunch and a drink. Costumes will be provided by Millbrook.

The Man in Black

Keziah Katz and her cast have worked hard since the beginning of February to create Evergreen’s take on “The Princess Bride”. There have been lots of adaptations to the storyline, but the humor and wit are totally intact. This comedy will be staged next weekend on May 16th  and 17th at 7:30 pm.  Put the dates on your calendars and try to attend. This student-driven project is an Evergreen tradition.

Next Week’s Play Practice

Next week Play practice is scheduled every day until 4:30 pm to prepare for the Big Show.

PSSA Testing

Students in grades 8 and 11 will be finishing up the Science portion of the PSSA on Thursday. Please come to school well rested and eat breakfast!

Congratulations
